Perspective: Climate Change
There seems to be a lot of hype in the media regarding the consequences of Climate Change. Some in the media and in Washington claim that the world will end in as little as 12 years, on the surface this looks a lot like fear-mongering. Pretty sure that's exactly what it is, but what does the science say? Recently (2018-2019) some of the most respected scientists have put conservative estimates out there that we will see what they call 'biological annihilation' over the next decade or so. Some assert that the ship has sailed, others that we can still do something to slow or halt this, but what they are talking about is the Earth's sixth mass extinction event.
