CA is not for Americans

There are laws in nearly every state that assert that a homicide committed in relation to illegal drug activity can and should be tried as a first degree murder due to the foreknowledge of the legality and severity of such activities. Or more basically put, you know that there is a high probability that armed conflict might occur, and thus premeditation. Not in California though, some leftist in some city far from El Dorado County decided a few years ago that such standards needed to end. And the Mexican Nationals that gunned down Deputy Brian Ishmael knew it, the organized crime that pours over our boarders from Mexico know our laws better than most that legally live here. Now a beloved member of our CA community is dead and CA law enforcement and the courts they serve have their hands tied regarding a conviction. When these two cartel-related Mexicans were brought to the El Dorado County Jail, they were held but not booked. Federal law enforcement showed up to process them but the

Perspective: Fear

During what can easily be defined as the most politically "toxic" social climate America has seen since the civil rights movement of the 1960's (or perhaps even the civil war) it has become increasingly difficult to determine (for oneself) exactly what tidbit of news is 'fake' or real, but also resulting from some triggered victimhood for which the perpetually offended should probably just suck it up and shut the F- up. If you're nodding your head then you know of what I speak. People are increasingly offended by anything that does not resemble their particular worldview, without realizing the reality of why diversity of thought is a good thing. They want ethnic diversity, but not ideological diversity, do they not remember the lessons of the past? The monolith for which they long is not unlike the monolithic ideologies that were promoted by Stalin, Mao, Hitler, among others. That aside, we (those that see this all as a problem) are still bewildered by those t

Privilege

It seems as of late all you hear shrieking out of the conscripted-liberal media and their politician-puppets is whiteness-bad!  To which I say, "but facts..." It all began when some professor scratching for a crumb of relevance constructed the racist myth that by virtue of their skin tone (or lack there of) white people were afforded things that others have been denied. You have all heard this B.S. before, and any rational person willing to dig just a little will determine that other than the cases of wealth inheritance, every person that has any measure of success in this competitive capitalist nation has had to work their proverbial ass off for it. If "whiteness" was such a deterministic factor than explain to me trailer parks? Or better yet, why is it that both Asians and Jews do statistically better than whites? What about Asian-privilege, or Jew-privilege? Point of fact, one of the most successful entrepreneurs that I know is Hispanic that immigrated, illegal

The line up 2020!

So the 2020 lineup is, for the most part, a horrible joke. Particularly the popular candidates. I'd like to think about who they all were in high school. Beto O'Rourke - that guy that got stuck backing his car out at your party... where he was leaving, alone. Booker - that guy in high school that tried too hard to make friends and impress, who was not really a bad guy, so everyone just tolerated him. Sanders - that government teacher in high school that always got worked up when the topic of economics came up... which is why he wasn't the econ teacher Mayor Pete - the valedictorian. The know-it-all. Sen Warren - that girl that was prone to making outlandish claims that no one could really dispute but everyone knew she was full of crap. You know, the one that also talked loudly so everyone knew she was there... Joe Biden - that rich kid, Joey, whose dad owned a construction business, the kid that everyone bought drugs from that had all the teachers fooled, exce

Toxic Feminism

We've all heard about toxic masculinity, about how "boys being boys" is somehow 'bad' or oppressive, violent, regressive, or otherwise harmful to society. The implication is that everything about girls is good, right, and beneficial to society. Anyone that grew up in a family environment with boys and girls know that girls are (generally) far more manipulative and twice as savage as boys when it comes to confrontation and conflict resolution. Boys may be quicker to shove or throw a punch, but generally after quick scraps that most often get broken up by adults or older siblings/peers the conflict is resolved. This behavior in boys helps build conflict resolution skills and learn to better associate with other boys (and not be so quick to act out in violence as it has a cost). I'm not talking about the bullying that happens in schools, which is by no means exclusive to boys, or even dominated by boys... again, girls, savage. Despite these and other factors reg

Perspective: Climate Change

There seems to be a lot of hype in the media regarding the consequences of Climate Change. Some in the media and in Washington claim that the world will end in as little as 12 years, on the surface this looks a lot like fear-mongering. Pretty sure that's exactly what it is, but what does the science say? Recently (2018-2019) some of the most respected scientists have put conservative estimates out there that we will see what they call 'biological annihilation' over the next decade or so. Some assert that the ship has sailed, others that we can still do something to slow or halt this, but what they are talking about is the Earth's sixth mass extinction event. I've blogged about it before. The truth is, we have a limited ability to predict what precisely will happen. It ranges from; losing a considerable number of species, in which case other species will assume the vacated niches in the ecosystem, to; losing this considerable number without the niches being back-fil

Perspective: Peaceful Presidents

Image
In light of recent tensions between the United States and countries like Venezuela and Iran, I thought it might be fruitful to put things into some perspective. Particularly when it comes to the Left's criticisms of President Trump and President Bush and of course their praise of Obama. President Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 for "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples." October 9th 2009, he hadn't even been in office for 10 months. Policy talk regarding emphasizing the role of international institutions (over sovereign authority of individual nations), denuclearization, and climate policy. Yet he was barely president. Did he delivery on this 'talk'? I am not familiar with the Nobel Peace Prize process but I am willing to wage much on the likelihood that it takes longer than a month. So what did Obama do between Jan 20th and Sept1? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_executive_acti

"Impeach!"... Stupid Democrats, T.D.S. 2.0

So we have all now heard from the Mueller Report, that there was, and is no evidence of collusion with Russia regarding the 2016 Election Campaign, and outside of the report there is mounting evidence that the 'Collusion' conspiracy was fabricated by Trump's political opponents. The Democrats still won't let it rest, he has to be guilty of something they think. So they went on to obstruction (which was always plan B for when (not if) the collusion conspiracy failed), which the report does site several incidents where there might be justification for charges of obstruction. So the Democrats get together and push, they push for subpoenas for documents, financial records, and taxes among other things. Trump reacts. He blocks the release of financial statements from his banks with law suites. He directs people to 'no show' before the congressional witch hunt, which drives the deranged democrats to conclude that he's hiding something. Yeah, he is hiding the fact

Indoctrination

Indoctrination is essentially a process in which people are convinced through some form of persuasion to adopt a new set of ideas. To indoctrinate a people it is best to start with their children, just ask Hitler. Watching this video by Horowitz on the Left's war on Christianity I realized the hypocrisy in what liberals are doing to our children through public schools. In the latter third of the 20th century there was a lawsuit that effectively took prayer out of public schools. The suite was over a 23-word prayer that basically read; God please bless and look over us students, parents, teachers, and all of America, Amen.  The ruling was based on the pretext of our constitution that prevents the implementation of a national religion. Many on the left will say that Christians trying to get information on the Bible, let alone prayer, into schools are trying to institutionalize their (the Christian) ideology, therefor forcing their beliefs on all of our kids. This the Left claims is
